3 Things I want for Christmas
From the kids:
1. Adulto materials
2. Eraser
3. Intelligence
(the above 3 items are actually from different students, in case you were unsure).
And the most popular item the kiddos are asking for this year??
An i-pot. So they can presumably engage in their most favorite hobby, "listen to music". Either that or they're asking for some kind of drug I'm not aware of...

dude, no joke, all my kids want i-pot too. i asked a small group of them on the sly after class, and they slipped me some. WHOA! you gotta try it. decidedly more fun than ipod. my toes continued to tingle for a day or two afterwards, but whatever. by the way "listening to music" apparently has something to do with i-pot, rather than ipod, which is why they like it so much. by the way again, i want that devendra banhart please.
