momma, i love you, but i'm not sure i see the connection between snowmen and US beef. actually, the US strongarmed japan into selling our beef again. literally. the US govn't was like, "we're not gonna let you out of this headlock until you import our beef--and no, saying 'uncle' doesn't count."
well, also, I think that it's pretty clear that if they say "no spinal column parts" (i mean, yuck! I don't want any of those in my beef either) then if they receive spinal column parts, all bets are off. also probably not great that the navy totally botched the whole apology re: the woman murdered by a sailor in Yokosuka. But ANYWAY, the real reason I came here, april, was to notify you that i've started my own meager little blog which I'm using to keep track of stories that I've read in various publications and liked. I'm writing little short reviews and linking to the author and story if possible.
